Why Your Support Matters

Food insecurity is one of the most urgent challenges facing our city, affecting more than 1.3 million New Yorkers. And it’s not just our unhoused neighbors who struggle. Working adults, children, and seniors are among the most affected.

Through our recently launched Hunger Collective, we’re bringing together grants, volunteers, and the new Food Delivery Hub to fight the rise in food insecurity. Together, we can create a stronger, more reliable network of support for our neighbors in need!

Your generosity will help us move the Hunger Collective from pilot to full scale, providing 200,000 fresh, nutritious, culturally-appropriate meals and $1 million worth of shelf-stable pantry items throughout 2026. Will you help us reach more neighbors and make hunger relief a reality for our city?

"Through The Hunger Collective, we've been able to resource organizations that are really out there doing the good and hard work and offset costs for anywhere between $25,000 and $30,000 a month for Hope For New York affiliates."
